| When Italian style mixes with Scottish tradition, the result is Ballantyne, an historic brand which for nearly a century is synonymous with prized Cashmere and top of superior quality. The knitwear label was founded in 1921 by Henry Ballantyne, and purchased by Alfredo Canessa in 2004, already founder of Malo. The wool thread which is imported from China and Mongolia is transformed into beautiful fabrics by local artisans, with each item being finished by hand. Ballantyne reinvent classic cashmere tops, as well as jackets, trousers, and dresses which are all characterized by their softness and ease of wear. Queen Elizabeth, Steve Mc Queen,Jacqueline Keenedy Onassis and many other famous persons from international show business have had Ballantyne cashmere in their wardrobe. | |
