Pickwick
Brand of sportswear for young people.
The company was founded in Rome in 1996 by two young members who still hold 100 percent of capital Barbaresi Diego, who is the designer, and Marco Nicolini, sole director.
Over the years, the company called the Global Industry.
Currently it has sold its trademark licensed to three companies: the Bologna Supergin for Pickwick junior apparel, footwear to Elisabet Monte Urano (Ascoli Piceno) for the shoes, and Cartorama of Verona for stationery.
The distribution is mostly national, with 750 customers, 10 and 6 franchise stores owned stores, including one in Corso Como in Milan and another in Rome in Via Tomacelli.
By the end of 2003, is also planned further expansion in the Spanish and French markets.
They increase in parallel, the production, which, thanks to menswear, women's and accessories, with sweatshirts, T-shirts, backpacks, key rings, belts and hats, allowed revenues for 2002 of EUR 30 million.
