Roberto Cavalli

Roberto Cavalli comes from a family of artists: his grandfather, Giuseppe Rossi, a prominent figure macchiaiolo movement, with works exhibited in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
Horses studied at the Art Institute of Florence, choosing as specialized textile applications of paint.

In the early seventies invented and patented an innovative printing process on the skin and begins to create a patchwork of materials and colors. Hermès and Pierre Cardin are among the first to take an interest in its work.
