RoccoBarocco

His real name was Rocco Muscariello but after early success in fashion, decided to officially adopt his stage name by continuing to change the practices also anagrafe, where today it is called Rocco Barocco.

He spent his childhood and adolescence in Ischia with his eight brothers graduated Master Mariner Institute of Nautical Procida.
Attracted by the fashion world, he moved to Rome in 1962 and began working in the studio of Patrick de Barentzen and Giles.
In 1964 Giles gives life to a partnership that will last ten years.
In 1974 he opened his atelier in Rome in Piazza di Spagna and in 1979, after the successes obtained with high fashion, presented his first prêt-à-porter.
It is well known for his sexy creations, and among the awards, include the "silver mask" for high fashion in 1967, the premium "Singer" in New York as a young designer and one of Pittsburgh in 1973.
Today, in 2008, Rocco Barocco is one of the most successful Italian designer and his brand is known and exported worldwide. Each year presents its collection of prêt à porter men and women in Milan during fashion week.
